Though better known for his musical talents, Liam Gallagher is branching out into the world of fashion.

“The reason I’m doing it is because I love clothes, I’m doing clothes I like, if people like them cool if they don’t they don’t! I’m going to be wearing it all, won’t be putting anything out unless I’m wearing,”  he says in an interview on prettygreen.com.

Named after a song by The Jam, Liam insists that he’s not doing it for the money:

“Clothes and music are my passion. I’m not here to rip anyone off and I’m not doing it for the money either. I’m doing it because there’s a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear. It’s just a nice classic range, Classic Parka, classic trench coat, classic shoes, suede and desert boots, nice jumper no mad gear, nothing wild like Jean Paul Gaultier.”

No designs have been made public yet and Pretty Green say that nothing will be released unless it has Gallagher’s approval. The singer’s collection will be “limited edition” and is expected to be released in June.
