Engine Shed becomes Guitar Hero arena with DragonForce

Power metal heroes DragonForce will blast onto the stage at the Engine Shed later this year.
The British-based six-piece will perform at the venue on the University of Lincoln’s Brayford campus on Thursday 10 December 2009.
Last year the band was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for the single Heroes of Our Time, taken from their latest album Ultra Beatdown.
The band also claimed the distinction of becoming the most successful new British metal act in America for two decades after the trans-Atlantic success of their 2006 album Inhuman Rampage.
The first song from that album, Through the Fire and Flames, will be recognised by video game fans as a track from the game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
DragonForce will perform at the Engine Shed on Thursday 10 December with doors at 7pm. The event is strictly for people aged 16 and over.
Tickets cost £16 in advance and go on sale on Wednesday 17 June at 9am.
