The Engine Shed will be playing host to the American five-piece band Dio on November 28th.

Dio, formed in 1982, is a band best known for their frontman, Ronnie James Dio, an ex-member of the widely popular metal band Black Sabbath. Since their formation, Dio have released an E.P, 10 studio albums, 5 compilation albums and 5 live albums, as well as numerous DVDs.

This will be Dio’s first tour since they went on hiatus in 2006, due to Black Sabbath reforming (under the name Heaven and Hell). However, the band’s next studio album (yet to be named) is rumored to be released later this year.

Tickets are on sale now, at a cost of £20 advance booking. Doors open at 7pm, and the event is for over 16s only.
