Lincoln residents warned not to leave doors and windows unlocked

Lincolnshire Police are urging residents in Lincoln, including students in shared houses, not to leave doors and windows unlocked or open for housemates at night.

The warning comes following an incident on Charles Street West, when a back door was left open for a resident to return in the night. An offender got through an unlocked door and stole an Apple Mac and a Kodak camera.

The incident took place between 2am and midday on Friday, March 22nd, 2013.
