Winter is fast approaching and each day is feeling colder than the last. Our coats and gloves are being taken out of hiding too and the heating is back on.

The chilly weather combined with the heating can cause hair to become dry, frizzy and unmanageable, so here are a few products to help keep hair intact during the colder months.

Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo 385ml (RRP £6.99)

Taking care of your tresses starts from what you use to wash your hair. This sulphate free shampoo contains organic coconut milk which is full of vitamins to detangle, soften and help treat a dry, flaky scalp. The egg white proteins strengthen your hair and the coconut oil nourishes your hair to prevent it from drying out.

Sanctuary Daily Spa Escape Moisture Shine Hair Treatment 20ml sachet (RRP £2.00)

Hot showers and freezing temperatures have a drying effect on our hair so a weekly hair mask can be a saviour in regaining moisture. This hair mask – enriched with Shea butter and avocado oil -restores shine and manageability. For a more intense, moisture boosting treatment, wrap your hair in a towel and keep in all night. Rinse in the morning.

Tangle Teezer (RRP £10.99)

With hair being more prone to breakage during the winter months, this brush is excellent for unmanageable hair. The ‘Tangle Teezer’, shaped to fit nicely into the palm of your hand, gently detangles your hair whilst reducing splitting, hair breakages and damage. It can be used on wet and dry hair, and comes in many colours including pink, purple and leopard print.

John Frieda Frizz- Ease Original Hair Serum 50ml (RRP £6.29)

Used on wet hair after washing, this serum is great for keeping frizz at bay by smoothing the hair and helping to maintain your straight or curly style. The serum infused with silk proteins keeps hair looking and feeling glossy. Depending on your hair length, pump a small amount into your hand and smooth onto the ends of your hair and style as normal.
