Officers are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Boultham Park, Lincoln, between 8pm and 9pm on the evening of Wednesday 29th October.

According to police, the 50-year-old victim suffers from health problems and has learning difficulties. He was walking through the park after visiting a friend when he was approached by two young women who began to talk to him. One of them then knocked the man to the floor and stole £200 from his pocket.

The police say the woman who knocked the man down is described as white, aged about 18 to 19 years old, and has short, ginger, fluffy hair.

It is thought that there was a woman was walking past the park with a dog at the time of the incident and called out at the offender to stop what she was doing. Investigating officers are keen to hear from this woman, as she may have information that proves vital to the enquiry.
