He said: “It’s been absolutely fantastic, we still don’t know what happened at Whitehawk but we’ve moved on. Things are good at the moment.”

The Imps manager highlighted the importance of putting a string of results together: “Anyone that can go on a run of four wins from four is going to be camped nicely in the play-offs.

“We’ve talked about raising the bar, we’ve got to start fulfilling potential.

“We’re gaining momentum, it was a new squad we had in the summer and it’s about moving forward together.”

With a busy Christmas schedule coming up the Imps manager expressed the need to keep players fit.

He said: “We’ve got to make sure we’ve got plenty of bodies around at this time to get us through the period.”

City face a long away trip to Torquay United on Saturday and Moyses is hoping that the weather does not effect the game.

“The surface is quite good but it doesn’t deal with water too well, that’s a problem we might encounter.”

The Imps are looking to make it three wins from three and push themselves in to the play-off places.
