Exciting new sports competition set to start for University of Lincoln students

The University of Lincoln Students’ Union has announced a new head-to-head sports competition open to all students.

The programme is called Impsport which will be a weekly based competition pitting each of the four university colleges against each other across four sports.

Impsport is open to all University of Lincoln students who can compete by paying two pounds upon arrival at the match of their choice.

Squash will run from 6-8pm every Tuesday, Men’s football 1-3pm every Sunday, Women’s football 1-3pm every Saturday, Netball 17:30pm-19:30pm every Friday and pool will run fortnightly on Sunday from 6pm.

Impsport will begin the week commencing the 10th October. However, there will be a taster event on the 28th September where students can take part for free.

The programme aims to help students make new friends, get active and take part in friendly competition. The event organisers are welcoming any requests for further sports to be added and have provided the e-mail impsport@lincolnsu.com for students to do just that.
