This recipe is not only healthy, but it’s also quick and cheap with the whole recipe costing under £5 to make! Here’s our take on Chilli Quorn Carne.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
300g Quorn mince
400g tin chopped tomatoes
1 red pepper
200g red kidney beans
½ a pack of readymade chilli con carne spice mix
1. Start off by chopping your onion and pepper into small to medium chunks. Fry in a small amount of oil on a medium heat for 3-4 minutes until soft.
2. Add the Quorn and cook through for 5-10 minutes until soft.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes, kidney beans and spice mix. Mix well and allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes on a low heat. Then serve it up when you’re ready and enjoy!Tweet
