Hello and welcome to The Linc’s coverage of tonight’s All Student Members Meeting (ASM). Be sure to keep an eye on this live blog and on Twitter (@TheLinc) for updates.

Tonight’s attendees are currently being signed in, and the meeting is expected to start shortly.

The all-important number of attendees which ASMs need to reach is 50. If a meeting fails to reach this, then it is not quorate, meaning students cannot vote on issues raised.

Chair Scott Bonner has announced that 29 students are in attendance tonight, meaning the meeting is not quorate.

It has been brought to a close just 17 minutes after it was due to start. The news comes just three days after a record turnout of 32% in this year’s SU elections.

And so tonight’s coverage has been brought to a rather abrupt close. Thanks for following this blog and be sure to keep an eye on our website, Facebook (/TheLinc) and Twitter (@thelinc) for the latest news and sport from Lincolnshire.
