NUS petitions to keep thousands of international students in the UK

The NUS has created a petition to help save the education of “tens of thousands” of international students, after the Home Office revoked licences that gave 38 educational institutions the power to authorise visas for foreign students.

ID cards still on track, despite pilots’ protest

The British Airline Pilots’ Association is challenging the introduction of compulsory ID cards for airside staff at Manchester Airport. Manchester residents will be the able to volunteer to have the cards.
