Lincoln was hit by another flashmob on Saturday 21st March, as a group of around 60 people gathered in Lincoln’s High Street to burst into spontaneous dance.
At around 12:45pm, small pockets of suspicious looking students began to gather. A few photographers and a couple of camera crew began to arouse some interest. At just after 1pm, the James Brown classic ‘I feel good’ started playing out. Before long, a large crowd had gathered to show off their choreographed moves.
Passers-by looked bemused as such hits as ‘YMCA’ and ‘We will rock you’ blared out, whilst a group passionately moved to the beat. By 13:04, the music had stopped and the crowd dispersed as though nothing had happened.
The event, which was organised on Facebook, is not the first time Lincoln has played host to a flashmob. Last December, another group of Flash Mobbers gathered at the cathedral.
