Police investigating the murder of Gareth Robson are releasing still images from CCTV in an attempt to identify potential witnesses to the incident. Gareth was assaulted outside the Chicken Cottage in Wigford Way, Lincoln at around 1.45am on Saturday 12 September 2009, and died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
Police are urging anyone who recognises the people from these CCTV still to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Pete Grayson says, “Investigations into this offence are continuing.” “Officers conducted an appeal for witnesses outside the Chicken Cottage on the seven-day anniversary of when it took place, but there are still a number of witnesses who I believe may have vital information which could help us with our enquiry.”

“I am so keen to trace these persons that I have taken the unusual step of releasing their images taken from the Chicken Cottage CCTV and would appeal for these people or anyone who knows them to contact us as a matter of urgency,” Detective Sergeant Grayson added.
