Chart topping pop sensation Pixie Lott has announced that she will be playing the Engine Shed on November 26th, as part of her first UK headlining tour.

The 19 year old singer released her first studio album, “Turn It Up”, back in 2009 and reached number six in the UK album charts. Her first single, “Mamma Doo”, went to number one in the singles charts and was re-recorded in the fictional language of Simlish to be included in The Sims 3.

Other popular songs off the album include “Boys and Girls” and her current single “Turn It Up”, all of which are likely to be played during the show.

Earlier this year, Lott, who has previously toured with Rihanna and British band The Saturdays, was nominated for three Brit Awards including the award for Best Female Solo Artist.

She has also recorded a song called “Live For The Moment” for the new “Street Dance 3D” movie which hit cinemas at the end of last month, as well as performing at Radio One’s Big Weekend in Bangor.

Tickets for the gig go on sale at 10am on Saturday, June 12th and are priced at £23.50 plus booking fee. To purchase them and to find more information visit the Engine Shed’s website.
