With the summer festival season fast approaching, the larger festivals are bringing out the big guns. Glastonbury, Download and T In The Park have all announced their headliners and now it’s time for V Festival to deliver the goods.
The two day festival takes place over the 20th/21st weekend in August. It is split between two locations, with the line-up rotating between both over the two days. V Festival will be held at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.
Headlining the two day extravaganza are Eminem and The Arctic Monkeys. The latter, were also confirmed for T In The Park earlier this year. Also featuring high on the bill are UK’s rising star of hip-hop Plan B and the r ‘n’ b princess, Rihanna.
Other big names playing the festival are The Script, Dizzee Rascal, Pendulum, Kaiser Chiefs and Manic Street Preachers. But there are also some smaller acts such as Bellowhead, Imelda May and the X-Factor runner up Olly Murs.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, 4th March. They are priced at £175 for the weekend with camping, £149 without camping and £83.50 for a day ticket. To buy tickets, visit the official ticket website.
