Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information following the assault of a 28-year-old man.
The man was walking along the river with a woman when he was assaulted by a group of men. As a result, he sustained cuts, which are believed to have been inflicted by a knife.
He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital where he was treated and has since been discharged.
The incident took place at the junction of Charlesworth Street and Foss Bank at approximately 9.30pm on Monday, November 26th.
