Tiki bar and club Lola Lo has launched cocktail making masterclasses.

The masterclasses, which cost £30 per head, gives people the opportunity to learn how to create three cocktails, as well as how to create their own.

Masterclasses start with a tour of the venue, where customers can learn about the history of Tiki culture, which the bar has adopted. They are then welcomed into the Polynesian world with champagne and flower garlands.

Bartenders demonstrate how to make three signature cocktails from the menu, which customers get to try their hand at. They then get to create their own cocktails using a starter kit.

The best cocktail, as judged by the bartenders, is awarded with a Havana Club branded cocktail shaker and all attendees are given a certificate of cocktail-making merit and a Lola Lo recipe book.

In addition, the group leader is given a Good Time Girl vessel to take home, plus everyone receives the Good Time Girl card for complimentary entry to the club that night.

Lee Nicolson, Lola Lo Operations Director said: “Cocktail masterclasses are already hugely popular for parties and hen dos, but they also make an ideal team-building experience – it’s something a bit different to reward and motivate staff.”

He continued: “The cocktail sessions have been specially developed to give a truly unique hands-on experience and offer not only a taste of the exotic, but an all-round island oasis celebration.

“We’re all about living life to the full in our own little tropical paradise, and we want to immerse everyone who walks through the door in that vibe.”

Further details about the cocktail masterclasses are available on the Lola Lo website.
