Australian bar Walkabout will be closing its doors on Monday 4th November, in order to refurbish the premises.

Customers will get a sense of being in the Great Barrier Reef in the new ‘Reef bar’ where linked-screens will project beach action and under the sea footage.

Two new VIP pool table areas will be located in the sporting chill out zone upstairs with an ‘al-fresco’ atmosphere seating area.

The food and drinks menu’s are also receiving an update, a new selection of light bites, main meals, sharing dishes, party platters and Aussie inspired cocktails will feature, with 50% off on all Aussie food and drink Monday to Friday between 5 and 7pm.

Reserved seating is now available online, booths for large parties or seating in front of plasma screens can be booked for live sport.

The bar will reopen on Thursday, 21st November with a VIP opening night featuring live music and an authentic didgeridoo player.
