FIGHTING FOR YOUR VOICE!

After volunteering as a School Representative for two years, one thing I have always been committed towards is helping others whenever possible. It’s why I feel proud to say that my main quality is having a good heart – that I care about everyone’s wellbeing. This has led me to help make some great changes already for students, with investigations into the ridiculous costs some students face at Uni, to ensuring that you get the grade you deserve. With this, I am dedicated to be your Welfare and Community officer, working to make your university life safe and enjoyable.

DEDICATED SUPPORT SYSTEM AND INDEPENDENT ADVICE
Life can turn around when you least expect it, but you shouldn’t have to feel lost or alone. Working with the University and the SU, I want to investigate the current support structure, and help to build a dedicated, independent and easily accessible support centre.

A BETTER TIME AT UNIVERSITY
Some of our fondest memories throughout University come from amazing events that occur during our time in Lincoln. I want to work together with you and the other officers to support and set up more student led projects, SU events and cross-society events.

STRENGTHENING EQUALITY AND OUR COMMUNITY
I want to expand on the great work that has already been started with the Liberation Groups and Community Reps. Through volunteer work that will help build on our relationships with the local community, and ensuring equality through helping with the Liberations Group’s campaigns – no matter what the weather may throw at us – we can build a great environment for everyone in Lincoln.

MORE PUNCH FOR YOUR POUND
I’ve already been deeply involved with the investigation into hidden costs such as; printing prices, expenses you never expected to pay, and helping with the “Always Skint” report – fighting for change within the University. Now I want to take this further, and make sure that all students are financially stable whilst at University, and are not being short-changed, be it with academic costs or fighting for the quality of student housing to be increased.

So vote for someone who truly cares about your wellbeing, and who will fight for your voice. Vote Wade, #1 for Welfare and Community.
