Lincoln City striker Liam Hearn has joined National League side Barrow AFC on loan until January 4.
The 30 year-old requested to join Barrow on loan from Lincoln City after a bid was launched by the mid-table National League side.
Lincoln City manager, Chris Moyses told the Imps website: “Liam requested the move in a bid to gain maximum game time as he feels as though he will have a better chance of doing this at Barrow rather than us.”
The striker has scored eight goals in 17 appearances for City this season after signing on a free transfer at the start of the campaign.
Hearn will join up with former manager Paul Cox, who was appointed as the new Barrow manager on Wednesday, November 23, taking over from Darren Edmonson.
Cox was in charge of Mansfield during Hearn’s one year spell at the League Two club last season.
Lincoln City have not granted Hearn permission to play in the FA Trophy and he will also be unable to play against the Imps at Sincil Bank on Saturday 19 December.
