Members of the University of Lincoln’s Students’ Union can now vote for their new Student Leaders, after voting opened earlier this evening.

Alongside the five Student Leader positions, a number of Volunteer Officer roles are also up for election – including NUS delegates, the Societies Officer and Chair of the Council.

Here are the candidates for the five sabbatical roles:

SU President:

Vice President Academic Affairs:

Vice President Welfare and Community:

All candidates are now free to begin canvassing for votes up until Friday 24 February, where the winners will be announced.

As well as campaigning, candidates running for one of the Student Leader roles will participate in a Question Time session taking place in Tower Bar from 6pm. The Linc will be live reporting the event, with coverage on Twitter and on this website.

This year’s elections also sees some new incentives for SU members, with 70 students being selected at random each day of voting to win a bacon sandwich (or vegetarian equivalent).
