Get the Buzz is a YouTube led project, set up last year by three third year journalism students.

Natasha, Bethan and Jasmin designed the project to give existing and prospective students a chance to check out what the university has to offer from its societies and sports teams.

Alongside the videos, their website contains all the essential and practical sign up information.

The girls create all the content between themselves, often with each of them performing multiple roles everytime they film.

Get the Buzz presenter Natasha joins in with each society’s activities, often with hilarious results.

Her recent antics include learning how to swim butterfly stroke, being shot repeatedly with paintballs and acquiring some new karate moves.

Natasha said: “I love that I’ve tried so many new things out of my comfort zone. I wanted to show people that it’s possible for anyone to join in. Everyone has been so helpful and patient, it’s never mattered that I’m a complete novice.”

The team’s video editor Bethan added: “All the societies have been so welcoming and friendly, it’s wonderful getting to talk to people who are really passionate about what they do.”
