Students are being encouraged to ‘test the current stability’ of Blackboard after the site became accessible on Wednesday evening.
In his latest update email, Vice President for Academic Affairs Tommy George said students should log-in to the site and download materials ‘as they would in normal circumstances’.
“Please be aware that whilst most functionality within Blackboard appears to have been restored, it remains in a test state and its stability cannot yet be guaranteed,” he said.
“Make sure you keep local copies of the resources you download and continue to use the other methods for uploading assessments that your College or School has in place.”
Further updates on the status of Blackboard are to be made as the situation improves.
