The University of Lincoln will be open today and lectures will run ‘as planned’ following snow yesterday, it has been announced.
In an email to students, the university said: “Students should assume that timetabled teaching sessions will go ahead as planned unless notified otherwise.
“Please check your University email, Blackboard and the University website regularly,” they said.
The message goes on to advise students to take ‘extra care’ and allow ‘plenty of time’ for their journey if they are travelling into campus.
It reads: “If you need to travel a significant distance onto campus, you may wish to call your school office or check Blackboard before setting off.
“Any local changes to teaching arrangements (such as postponements, room changes or combined sessions) will be notified as soon as possible.”
Other events on campus – including a Great Lives lecture by Dr Michael Mosley and the official opening of the Sarah Swift Building – will also be going ahead as planned.
