The University of Lincoln has received its highest ever university ranking, after the Complete University Guide 2019 ranked it 43rd on the list.

Vice Chancellor Mary Stuart said the ranking and her recent awards win “recognise all the staff and students at Lincoln”.

The rating sees the institution move up seven places from last year in the national rankings. The university was also ranked fifth overall in the East Midlands table.

Commenting on the ranking and her inspiring leader award win on Tuesday, Vice Chancellor Mary Stuart said the news “[recognises] all the staff and students at Lincoln”.

“Our University is home to extraordinary people who are truly passionate about higher education and research and who fundamentally believe that an exceptional student experience should be at the heart of any university.

“It is also a recognition of our city which provides a welcoming and supportive home to our student population.

“I am delighted to see Lincoln succeed in this way,” she said.
