With amazing headliners such as Sundara Karma, Tom Grennan and Metronomy, our team here at The Linc are very excited to be able to attend the Live at Leeds Festival this weekend. It is a wonderful way to kick off the festival season in style, being both affordable and accessible to us here in Lincoln. If you are able to attend, here are some acts to keep an eye out for:
Marsicans
Having visited Lincoln many times, most recently on the 22nd March this year, Marsicans hold a very special place in our hearts here at The Linc.
As a band from Leeds, it is no surprise that we would be seeing them at such an exciting event. As an upbeat group of young lads with a unique sound that is guaranteed to put a spring in your step, Marsicans are definitely one to look out for at Live at Leeds this year.
Kate Tempest
As a rapper renowned for her poetic and moving lyrics, Kate Tempest is an artist that has grabbed the attention of many.
Nominated for the Best Female Solo Performer at the Brit Awards last year, many of you may have heard of her already. Having released her brand new song ‘Firesmoke’ only 3 days ago and with an album expected on the 14th June, we are very eager to see what she has in store for us tomorrow.
Metronomy
Metronomy are a 4-piece electronic band from Devon, England. Having just passed the 10th Anniversary of their second album, it is no surprise that both old and new fans alike are eager to see them headline the festival this weekend.
Known for their upbeat synth and quirky music videos, Metronomy are a must see at Live at Leeds and promise an exciting show full of dazzling lights and memorable moments.
