Lincoln United have welcomed their sixth summer signing in the form of former Gainsborough Trinity man Tris Drummond.
The right-sided player joined The Whites after a season at Sleaford Town, after spending the prior campaign on loan at Newark Town.
Former Holy Blues youngster Drummond has followed experienced striker Gregg Smith, centre-back Henry Moore, defender Tom Hipwell, central-midfielder Scott Matthews and fellow former Gainsborough man Jaime Ture into Ashby Avenue.
The Whites’ manager Scott Hellewell, speaking to The Linc, said: “In the summer, he was going to be someone we spoke to regardless of what club we were at, and he knows this league very well, he’s spent two years at the level.”
The former Winterton Rangers gaffer is happy to have added Drummond’s versatility to Lincoln, as he can play at right-back, right-wing-back and right wing.
