Lincoln City travel to relegation fighting Northampton Town, hoping to return to wining ways following six games without victory.
The game kicks off at the slightly earlier time of 2pm due to Rugby Union side Northampton Saints also having a home fixture on the same day.
The Imps come into this game after recently being eliminated from the both the FA Cup and Vertu Trophy in their last two outings.
Head coach Michael Skubala admitted that he is “frustrated” by the current form and that a lack of goals has been one of the issues that his side have faced.
The opposition: Northampton Town
Having recently changed their manager, with Kevin Nolan stepping into the role, the Cobblers have had a slight change of form as of late.
They come into this game unbeaten in three games, a run that included victory over relegation rivals Burton Albion, as well as draws with Shrewsbury Town and Stevenage.
However, that was preceded by four games without victory while also conceding 15 goals in the process.
The Imps will be hoping to put and end to their recent goalscoring woes against the team that have conceded 39 goals all season. Skubala’s men have only scored one goal in their past nine hours of football, that Jovon Makama’s penalty against Birmingham City.
Team News:
George Wickens will remain on the sidelines for a couple of weeks with a shoulder injury, however Skubala said: “His shoulder is repairing well, he’s been working hard in the gym but he’s definitely two or three weeks off.”
On top of that, despite facing recent struggles with his shoulder Paudie O’Connor should be available for this clash.

Former Premier League midfielder Sam Clucas signed a deal until the end of the current season with Lincoln the day before the game, returning to his hometown club after 15 years away.
Head-to-head:
Last time the two sides faced each other, the Imps came back from a goal down to seal victory after Erik Ring finished from close range late in the game.
Alongside that, the two sides have faced each other on 60 previous occasions with the Imps coming out on top 18 times.
However, a draw has been the most frequent outcome between the two sides with the points being shared 26 times when the two sides have met.
Played for Both:
Retired midfielder Richard Butcher is among the limited names that have lined up for both sides.
The Englishmen started his career at Northampton without stepping onto the pitch. He then moved to Lincoln from Kettering Town in 2002 playing 104 times for the Imps and scoring 11 goals.
Alongside that, current Northampton loanee Callum Morton lined up for the Imps in the 2020/21 season. He played 21 times and scored three goals as the Imps eased to mid-table security in League One.
