Gainsborough Trinity 0-1 FC United of Manchester:

Gainsborough Trinity manager Russ Wilcox unpicked defeat to FC United of Manchester.

Trinity lost 0-1 at The Northolme, as Wilcox said the officials “let us down” due to a lack of consistency. The result meant that Gainsborough’s nine game unbeaten streak came to an end.

Speaking to The Linc sports reporter Declan Dempsey, Wilcox said: “We deserved something from that game, because for me there were two penalties in there. The handball where he holds his face… and the foul of Curtis [Durose].”

The Holy Blues manager also spoke about a lack of chances, the absence of Declan Howe, and spirt of his Trinity squad.
