Lincoln United Women 0-1 Peterborough United Women:

Lincoln United Women manager Lee Mitchell was “proud” despite defeat for his team against Peterborough United.

The Whites boss spoke about the pride he had in performance his side put in, as well as the tactics he set in motion for the game.

Speaking to The Linc, he said: “If we do that and I think we’re going to give anybody a game for the rest of the season… we are a team that deserve to be at step four.”

Lincoln have a cross-city derby on the horizon in the Lincolnshire County Cup final, and Mitchell wants to see his take the same attitudes his players showed against Peterborough in their next few outings.
