Stuart Cunnington reacts to Lindum Hockey’s final home game of the season, reviewing a last-gap victory and relegation back into the Conference.
Lindum’s head coach spoke to The Linc sports editor Jamie Johnson after the game, reflecting on the knock down from the Division One North that was sealed before the game.
He said: “It’s been a difficult year with results, but there’s been very few games where we have come off thinking we have bene out-played or that we have not been good enough to compete.”
Cunnington also cast an eye to next season, noting that there was lots to learn from relegation and stating his confidence in Lindum being able to re-focus and bounce back.
