Michael Skubala’s side are back in Carabao Cup action TONIGHT as they travel to the Pirelli Stadium to take on Burton Albion.
Lincoln City are now unbeaten in four games following their 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers at the weekend.
Freddie Draper fired the Imps in front within the first minute and they looked like they were going to hold out for a second clean sheet in a row until the 97th minute when Tom Hamer put it into his own net for the equaliser.
The draw put them on ten points from five as they are currently seventh place in SkyBet League One.
In round one of the cup, Lincoln comfortably defeated Harrogate Town 3-1 away from home, Jack Moylan, Draper and Rob Street all scoring on the night.

Opponents: Burton Albion:
Lincoln face fellow League One side Burton Albion in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup.
The Brewers beat Tranmere Rovers 5-4 on penalties after drawing 1-1 in 90 minutes of the first round tie, Ben Whitfield scoring their only goal of the game and Finn Delap netting the winning penalty.
They currently occupy 16th place in the league, having won four points from a possible four games, their only win coming on the opening day against Mansfield Town.
Gary Bowyer’s side have been active in the summer transfer window, bringing in nine players including JJ McKiernan on loan from the Imps and former Coventry City centre-forward Fabio Tavares on a free transfer.

Team News:
When asked what sort of side he is likely to put out against Burton on Lincoln City’s official YouTube account, head-coach Skubala said: “(It will be) a little bit like the one we did at Harrogate.
“We’ve got a few more bodies in the building, we’re a couple of weeks down the line where some of the players have been putting in some really high numbers in the league games, especially when we’ve been travelling as well, so I think you can see a few changes coming, but that’s an opportunity for some of the lads to show what they can do.
“But more then anything we want to go through… we will definitely put a team out there that we think can win the game.”
Skubala also confirmed in the pre match interview that Lewis Montsma has been on the grass and could return to the bench, and that Dom Jeffries is set to return to training next week.
Unfortunately for the Imps, Moylan has undergone an operation on an ankle injury that will keep him out of action for around three months.

Head-to-Head:
The two sides have locked horns for six consecutive seasons now in League One, Lincoln winning seven of the 12 meetings.
Last season the Imps won the game late at the Pirelli Stadium with Paudie O’Connor scoring a brace from centre-back, however in the reverse fixture at the LNER Stadium, Burton clinched a 1-0 away win with Charlie Webster scoring a dramatic stoppage-time winner.
The Brewers and the Imps have not drawn any of their last 13 matches against each other.
Played for Both:
JJ McKieran spent six months of last campaign out on loan from Skubala’s side at Burton and has re-joined them for a full season loan this window.
City signed Tom Hamer from Burton last summer after he made 147 appearances for the Brewers, the defender has already made 28 appearances for the Imps.
Michael Bostwick and Neal Eardley are also two names who both left the Imps for Burton Albion. Bostwick played over 100 games for City, before leaving to feature 38 times for the Brewers, while right-back Eardley played 122 games for Lincoln and just ten for Burton.
