Lincoln City have a chance to go top of the Sky Bet League One table tomorrow as they face Exeter City at the LNER Stadium.
The Imps haven’t lost a league game since August 9 and have since picked up five wins and three draws, climbing up to third in the table.
But with Bradford City drawing on Thursday night, Michael Skubala’s side can go top on goal difference on the condition that they beat Exeter and if second place Stevenage drop points against Luton Town.
Lincoln’s last outing was a 3-0 dismantling of Manchester United U21s on Tuesday night, with Tom Hamer, Erik Ring and Reeco Hackett all getting on the scoresheet in the second match of the Vertu Trophy.

Opponents: Exeter City
Exeter sit in 18th place in League One, picking up just nine points and winning just once away from home so far this season.
Gary Caldwell’s side will be desperate to end their poor run of form which has seen them lose all of their last four league games.
Last campaign, the Grecians finished 16th in the third division of English football, but they have since added 12 new faces in the summer transfer window.
Among these new signings were centre-forward Jayden Wareham, goalkeeper Joe Whitworth and defender Danny Andrew, who have already made a combined total of 29 appearances for Exeter this season.

Team News:
When asked about some of the longer term injuries affecting Lincoln City, head-coach Skubala said: “(They are doing) really well.
“Oisin (Gallagher) is back on the grass this week, he is training with the team so he’s into nearly full training. (Charlie) Parks is coming back next week.”
He also gave a positive update on Dom Jeffries by explaining that he is on track to be fit for the end of October with Jack Moylan expected to be out for slightly longer.

Head-to-Head:
History points towards Lincoln City as the likely winners for the clash with the Imps now nine games unbeaten against the Grecians, despite failing to score more than one goal in the last seven of those games.
Exeter have won just one of their last 11 away games against Lincoln, with that sole victory coming in April 2009 when they secured a 1-0 win at Sincil Bank.
Overall, Lincoln have the edge in head-to-head, winning 28 of the match-ups and both drawing and losing to Exeter on 21 occasions.
Played for Both:
Winger Mustapha Carayol is a name to have featured for both sides, the former Gambian international spent the 2010/11 season playing for Lincoln City in League Two, managing to bag four goals that season.
He most recently spent the 2024/25 season with Exeter, in which he featured six times and failed to score a goal.
Justin Walker is another name to feature for both clubs. He joined Lincoln City from Scunthorpe United in the summer of 2000 and was named Player of the Season at the end of his first term with the Imps, overall contributing 89 appearances and five goals.
He then joined Exeter City in the summer of 2002 where he featured 39 times, scoring five goals in his year long stay at the club.
