The Engine Shed in Lincoln will be welcoming Joy Division and New Order bassist and co-founder Peter Hook and his band, Peter Hook & The Light, at the end of the month.
The band announced their UK tour for November, where they will play the entirety of the New Order album ‘Get Ready’, which will be followed by classic tracks from both New Order and Joy Division.
The band will be playing November 27, where they will be performing tracks like ‘Blue Monday’ and the ever so popular, ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’.
Following its release in 2001, New Order’s seventh studio album, ‘Get Ready’, reached number six in the UK album charts, and number two in the US Billboard electronic album chart.

Peter Hook said: “Get Ready was a honeymoon record, looking back now it was very enjoyable to make, and I think it is massively underrated.”
The band dedicated the album to Rob Gretton, former manager of both Joy Division and New Order, who died in 1999.
“I am looking forward to playing all the tracks, many of which have never been played live before.”
Since beginning in 2010, Peter Hook & The Light have performed much of Hook’s catalogue, including Joy Division’s ‘Unknown Pleasures’ and New Order’s ‘Power, Corruption & Lies’.
Since, they have amassed almost 900 concerts, and have extensively toured in Europe, China, Japan, North America, South America, Australia and New Zealand, and have featured in popular music festivals like Primavera Sounds, Benicassim, Bestival, Kendal Calling, Victorious and Rebellion.
Peter Hook & The Light are coming off a busy summer, having completed a full US tour in May and June and a festival-filled summer across the UK and Europe.
The band have also recently announced that they will play at Lincoln Castle next summer, alongside electronic band OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark) and singer-songwriter Andrew Cushin.
They kicked off their UK tour down south in Worthing and have since performed in Bournemouth and Coventry, with the band due to play in Liverpool next.
