Lincoln City comfortably brushed Bradford City aside on Tuesday night, putting three goals past the promotion hopefuls without any reply.
Imps striker Freddie Draper opened the scoring within ten minutes of kick-off, with in-form Jack Moylan and a returning Ben House putting the other two away.
On how much the win meant, Draper said: “It’s massive, any three points is huge and obviously with Bradford, they’re in and around us so it’s good to get those three points.”
Lincoln showed a merciless mentality out on the pitch and Draper demonstrated this when asked about the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old forward said: “There’s still so many games left and so many points to pick up.”

Draper was involved in many physical battles throughout the game, showing off his strength and confidence when leading the line.
He said: “I feel I can bully most centre halves in this league.” As well as this, he mentioned his growth in confidence this season after making it five goal contributions in his last four games.
“I feel really confident, it’s the best I’ve felt in my career so far.”
Michael Skubala’s side have made an astonishing 36 points from a possible 45 at home now this season, cementing themselves as amongst the favourites for promotion.
And on the importance of the home support on show at the LNER Stadium, Draper said: “It’s massive, we know what the fans bring, they make it a fortress.
“We love playing here as you can tell by obviously the points we’ve picked up (at home) and hopefully the support is just going to get stronger and stronger as the season comes to an end.”
City currently sit just four points behind league leaders Cardiff City, as well as six clear of both Bolton Wanderers and Stockport County, who occupy third and fourth place, threatening the automatic promotion positions.
When asked whether the team are thinking about the possibilities of the Championship next season, Draper said: “You can obviously think about it as fans.”
He also commented on the players’ perspective when adding: “As players it’s game by game, you’ve just got to keep going, don’t get carried away it’s a tough league.”
The Imps will travel to Wigan on Saturday, hoping to keep the pressure on Cardiff at the top of the table, and to keep up their incredible run of form which has turned the side into serious title contenders.
