Lincoln City head-coach Michael Skubala is currently tipped to be one of the favourites for the vacant West Bromwich Albion post.
The Imps boss, who has been at the club since November 2023, is fifth favourite in the bookie’s odds currently at 14/1.
Other names rumoured to the managerial position at The Hawthorns include England Under-21’s manager Lee Carsley, former Middlesborough man Michael Carrick, as well as ex-Southampton and Rangers head coach Russell Martin.
West Brom sacked their head coach Ryan Mason this morning following a 2-1 away defeat to Leicester City in the Sky Bet Championship, their tenth straight defeat on the road.

Skubala currently has City in 2nd place in the Sky Bet League One table following their impressive 5-2 home win against Peterborough United at the LNER Stadium last Saturday.
That comes despite many people tipping Lincoln to be in a bottom half of the table scrap at the beginning of the season.
However, the club are currently on a seven-game unbeaten run with their last defeat coming against Huddersfield Town on December 2 in the EFL Trophy.

Mason’s Albion side started the season off well but unfortunately haven’t suffered the same fate as Lincoln, currently sitting in 18th place in the Championship table on 31 points, seven off relegation, and ten away from the play-off places.
The club released a statement stating that club legend and “First Team coach James Morrison will oversee first-team affairs on an interim basis until a new staff is appointed.”
West Brom hope to have appointed a new manager before their league game against Middlesborough on January 16 at The Hawthorns.
