Lincoln City defender Tom Hamer has signed a new contract keeping him at the LNER Stadium until 2029.
The defender joined the Imps in the summer of 2024 from fellow SkyBet League One side Burton Albion and has since gone on to make 66 appearances in all competitions.
That includes featuring in every single one of City’s league fixtures so far this season and starting in 28 out of the 34.
In that time that 26-year-old has contributed four goals in his 18-month stay and currently leads the way with assists this season, joint with Reeco Hackett on five.

On the new deal Hamer said: “I’m really happy to have got everything sorted, as soon as I heard about the possibility of extending my time here, I knew it was something I wanted to do.
“The staff, players and supporters make this a great club to be at and I’m really pleased to have committed my future here long-term.”
Sporting director Jez George said: “This is a no-brainer for us. Tom is coming into the prime years of his career; he has performed at a consistently high level all season and his long throw also provides us with an important attacking threat within our game model.
“Tom also fits our profile of what we look for in a ‘Lincoln City player’. He is understated, committed, aggressive and effective and we feel that he can easily be overlooked, underrated and undervalued outside our club but certainly not by our staff, players and fans.
“He has been a massive part of what we have achieved so far this season and Tom has a massive role to play in what we hope to achieve in the future.”
