A strong performance from Lincoln City saw them overcome Leyton Orient 2-1 this weekend, and it was Jack Moylan who provided the opener to make himself the side’s top goalscorer.
The Irishman scored his tenth league goal of the season with a tidy finish from inside the area to give the home side the lead, but it was to his teammates that he gave the credit to.
He said: “I feel very fortunate to be part of such a good team that provide you with easy chances and big moments.”
It was Conor McGrandles who won the decisive header to provide the chance for Moylan’s goal, and an all-round solid performance from the whole team to secure the win.

The Imps’ attacking midfielder spoke on the importance of the unbeaten run that Lincoln City have been on this season. Five months have now passed since their 1-0 home defeat to Exeter City, and Skubala’s side have avoided losing since.
Moylan added: “It means the world, obviously without this unbeaten run we wouldn’t be going up or we wouldn’t be fighting for a title.”
The tight-knit nature of the side has been a talking point all season, with many fans seeing the squad more as a band of brothers than just a football team. Moylan agreed, adding: “It’s a family here.”

But it’s not just the players who are involved in the family atmosphere at the LNER Stadium, credit has been given to the fans all season by Skubala and the players themselves, especially due to their role in helping the Imps to just one league home loss all season.
Moylan spoke on the fans saying: “They deserve as much as humanly possible, even the last two years during our dark times trust me they stuck by us, and they deserve this more than we do.”
Lincoln City will now be looking ahead to face Stevenage next, hoping to keep their hot run of form in the final few games of the season.
