Birmingham-based band Editors have announced that they will be appearing at Lincoln’s Engine Shed in March.
The four-piece band released their third album, In This Light And On This Evening, earlier this month and are set to rock Lincoln on March 6th 2010.
Renowned for their excellent performances, the release of this album sees the band return to tour the UK for the first time since March 2008.
The band made their debut in 2002, under the name Pilot, when all the members were at Staffordshire University. The band then went through other name changes, until they signed to a record label and became known as they are today.
Despite having no number one tracks, the band have remained popular in the British indie rock scene with tracks such as All Sparks, which featured on Radio 1’s Live Lounge, and Munich.
Tickets for the gig went on sale on October 23rd, and cost £20. Doors open at 6.30pm. This event is for over-16s only.
