The band were due to perform at the University of Lincoln’s Engine Shed on Saturday November 28th, after starting in Glasgow last Saturday. Unfortunately, the event will not be rescheduled.

Dio was formed back in 1982, and have released ten studio albums and enjoyed worldwide success. The band’s line-up has changed numerous times over the years, with Ronnie James Dio being the only original member remaining. As yet, no more news about his health is known.

Victoria Simpson, Events and Marketing manager at the Engine Shed, said the news was “obviously disappointing for fans who had purchased tickets for the event, but I am sure they would join the venue in wishing Ronnie a speedy recovery.”
