She shot to fame earlier this year and now Ellie Goulding has announced that she will be stopping off at the Engine Shed this November, as part of her extended UK “Lights” tour.

Born in Hereford, the singer-songwriter began writing folk-insprired music at the tender age of 15 after picking up a guitar. Whilst attending the University of Kent, Goulding was encouraged to take a gap year to pursue her music and the gamble payed off.

After releasing her debut single “Under The Sheets” in 2009, Goulding topped the BBC Sound of 2010 poll and won the Critics’ Choice Award at the 2010 Brit Awards. Since then, she released her first studio album “Lights” which reached number one in the UK album charts.

Turning a hand to co-writing, Goulding wrote for Gabriella Cilmi’s latest album “Love Me Cos You Want To” and more recently provided X-Factor star Diana Vickers with music for her debut album “Remake Me & You”.

Ellie Goulding will play the Engine Shed during her biggest tour yet, and will take to the stage on Monday, November 8th. Tickets for the gig go on sale this Friday, May 21st at 9am, and are priced £15.

Doors on the night will open at 7pm, and ID may be required.
