British born artists Rizzle Kicks and Wretch 32 are just two more names who have announced that they will both perform at the Engine Shed next year.
Southend duo Rizzle Kicks are the first artists to be announced and they will perform at the venue on Sunday, May 6th. Known for their songs “Down with the Trumpets” and “When I was a Youngster”, the boys have also duoed with the likes of Olly Murs and Jessie J. Their debut album Stereo Typical was released at the end of October.
The band will also be performing at the Engine Shed on Saturday, December 10th as support for Professor Green before going on to headline their own tour next year.
Marked by the BBC as a ‘one to watch’ on their Sound of 2011 list, Wretch 32 will also perform in Lincoln as part of his UK tour on Thursday, May 17th.
The artist is well known for songs such a “Traktor”, “Unorthodox”, “Don’t Go” plus a recent remix of Jungle by Professor Green. He has been nominated for a number of awards including 4Music video honours for both Big Best Beats and British Breakthrough in 2011.
Tickets for both gigs go on sale this Friday, December 2nd at 9am and can be purchased online or in person at the Engine Shed box office. Prices are yet to be confirmed.
