Henning Wehn is bringing his unique brand of Teutonic humour to the Lincoln Drill Hall on Saturday, October 6th, as part of the Lincoln Comedy Festival.
Wehn, who is the self-appointed German Comedy Ambassador to The United Kingdom, will be bringing his new show, “Henning Knows Bestest,” to Lincoln as a follow-up to his earlier “Henning Knows Best” shows.
Speaking about the name of his show, Wehn said: “Well seeing as it is now later on and I have learned more, I feel like it is an appropriate name for the tour as I now know more.”
The German comedian is a regular pundit on Radio 5 Live’s Saturday sports show, “Fighting Talk,” Radio 4’s “The Now Show” and “The News Quiz,” as well as other prominent media outlets.
He has also been touring with his stand-up comedy for over seven years now, having previously visited Lincoln. He said: “I remember Lincoln fondly from last time I did a show there.
“I ate at The Laughing Buddha Chinese Buffet and it was great to see the sheer engorging of the public, filling themselves with plate after plate of MSG-drenched sauces!”
He continued: “I enjoyed my show in Lincoln last time I was here and I hope everyone will come down to see my new one.”
Speaking about his new show, Wehn said: “More Teutonic jolliness is a given!”
Wehn is one of the many acts performing as part of the Lincoln Comedy Festival, which also includes renowned comedians such as Marcus Brigstoke, Chris Ramsey, Frisky & Mannish and Piff the Magic Dragon.
Henning Wehn is performing at Lincoln’s Drill Hall on Saturday, October 6th. Priced at £10 per person, tickets for the gig are available from the box office or online.
