Tinchy Stryder has been confirmed as the headline act at the University of Lincoln’s Snowflake Ball.

The Ghana-born grime rapper, who is best known for his singles, “Take Me Back,” “Number 1,” and “Bright Lights,” returns to the Engine Shed on Friday, December 7th, having previously performed at the venue in July 2010.

Tinchy Stryder, who supported Cheryl on her “A Million Lights” tour, is expected to release his fourth studio album in December.

Run by the Students’ Union, the theme for the Snowflake Ball this year is Narnia. The event also promises fake snow and Christmas decorations

The Snowflake Ball has previously been headlined by a Black Eyed Peas tribute act, “Gavin and Stacey” star, Mat Horne and BBC Radio 1 DJ, Reggie Yates.

Tickets for the Snowflake Ball go on sale on Thursday, October 24th, with prices starting at £14 for early bird, with standard tickets available at £17. Further details are available on the SU website.
