On what felt like the wettest day of the year ever, the University of Lincoln team beat Loughborough in a tense first match of the season.
The Swans started strong, scoring the first try, however Loughborough were quick to retaliate, and the rest of the match was back and forth between the two.
In a nail-biting last few minutes where Loughborough scored, the Swans still had enough points to win the game 30 – 28.
