Following a notable absence from Lincoln’s High Street spanning two years, Next have confirmed full details of their new Lincoln store opening.
The British retailer will return to Lincoln, taking home in the newly redesigned Waterside Shopping Centre, opening it’s doors on Thursday September 11 at 10am.
To mark the opening, the first 100 customers who enter the store will be rewarded with golden tickets with the chance to win a £100 gift card to spend in store.
Store Manager, Helga Corby said: “Its great to be back in the centre of Lincoln. We’ve wanted to return to the city centre for some time and when the opportunity presented itself we just had to take it.
“The store will focus on bringing all the latest trends to the city centre, including mens, womens & kids ranges.”
In early July of last year it was reported that the Lincoln based construction firm Simons Group were to carry out the £9 million reconstruction plan to house fashion giants H&M and Next, as well as providing updates to already occupied space such as New Look.
The new store occupies a sales area of 10,205 ft² spread across two floors, with the majority of the space being allocated to womenswear. Mens and kidswear will share 5000 ft² whilst homeware will have a much smaller presence, however they will still deliver key season accessories.
The new store will open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm and Sunday 10.30am to 4.30pm. The new opening has also created 32 jobs in a mix of both full and part-time positions.
The Next unit in Valentine’s Retail Park will still remain open, housing womenswear, menswear, kidswear and home.
