The biggest event for the LGBT community in Lincoln was clearly a definitive success as it drew to a close on Sunday evening.

The NHS, Terrance Higgins Trust, Lincolnshire Police, Unite the Union, Gay Blood UK, and general trade union GMB were all present, alongside a large roster of acts that kept the sizeable crowd in Lincoln’s City Square happily entertained.

“It’s been a cracking day,” smiled Andrew Kerry, Deputy Mayor of Lincoln. “It’s given everybody a chance to enjoy what has been a spectacular performance – on stage, by the stallholders, and with the information that’s here. It’s been absolutely first class.”

He even suggested that the event could grow in the coming years, adding that Lincoln Pride should “look towards London; let’s take them on”.

The Linc went down to Lincoln Pride to take a look at what the event had to offer.
