An extra student council has been called for tonight in order to discuss a “sensitive” issue.

The University of Lincoln Students’ Union sent emails to all voting representatives last Wednesday, which read: “The Executive have called an additional meeting of Student Council for 6pm Tuesday 28 October. It will be in the Moot Court as usual.

“The issue to be discussed is a sensitive one at this moment in time and will be tabled at the meeting with Brian [Alcorn, SU President] giving a verbal report on the matter at hand.

“There will be no need for reports at this additional council or motions, they can wait until the student council already arranged for Monday 17 November.”

However, the meeting has not been advertised on Facebook, and only appeared as an event on the SU website this afternoon, with no explanation of the sensitive motion.

The meeting will be held tonight (28 October) at 6pm in Moot Court in the David Chiddick Building.
