The Imps have added teenage Scunthorpe United striker Kyle Wootton on a one-month youth loan deal.
The 19 year-old had been handed the number 24 shirt and will go straight into Chris Moyses squad for their match against Bromley at Sincil Bank tomorrow.
Wootton has been at Scunthorpe since he 10 years-old and burst onto the First Team scene last season, making his First Team debut in the Irons 1-0 Capital One Cup defeat against Reading.
He went onto make 14 appearances for the League One side last season and scored his first professional goal in a 1-1 draw with Port Vale.
The 6ft 2in striker, will not be allowed to play in City’s first round FA Cup tie against Whitehawk on Sunday 8 November.
