If you’ve ever tried to recreate a celebrity makeup look, you’ll know that the products their makeup artists use just aren’t within a student’s budget, but with new products hitting the drugstores everyday it’s not hard to recreate their look for less.

photo 2With the help of my lovely model Katie, I’m going to show you how you can recreate this Kendall Jenner makeup look for less.

Step 1: Start out with your base. You want to use a primer that has a hint of shimmer, as Kendall’s face is rather dewy. I recommend using the L’oreal Lumi Magique Primer (£10.99) as this helps to illuminate your skin without it looking greasy.

Step 2: Choose a foundation with a dewy finish, as this look is all about the skin, and we want it to look as glowing as possible. With so many foundations on the market, everyone has their favourite, but for this look I recommend a foundation like the L’oreal True Match Foundation (£9.99).

Step 3: Eyebrows, eyebrows, eyebrows. Use tiny strokes in order to achieve a natural look, long strokes will lead to your brows looking harsh and overdrawn. For this I used the Makeup Revolution Brow Dual Arch and Shape in Medium (£3.50)

Step 4: Kendall’s look isn’t too heavily contoured, in fact she’s not wearing much on her cheeks. I applied a light flush of the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder in Medium (£7.99), before adding a touch of the Natural Collection blush in Peach Melba (£1.99)

Step 5: You really want to accentuate the dewiness of this look, so applying a shimmery highlighter is essential. I used the Soap and Glory Peach Party Blush Brick (£11.00) across the cheekbones, centre of the forehead, down the nose and on the chin.

photo 1Step 6: The eyes. Sweep a light brown through the crease, creating subtle definition to the crease. Apply a champagne colour to the lids and the inner corner, taking this colour under the lashline. For this I used Maybelline The Nudes palette (£9.99). Next, you want to apply a small wing, before applying coats and coats of mascara. For liner, I used the Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner (£6.00), and for mascara I used Maybelline Lash Sensational (£7.99)

Step 7: Apply a coat of gloss and you’re all set! You now have the perfect Kendall Jenner look on a budget!
